Answers to All Your Remodeling Questions with Red Wagon Construction

1

Do you offer free estimates?

We offer complimentary initial consultations for most projects. Larger or more complex projects may require a paid site verification or design phase, which is typically credited toward the project if you move forward with construction.

2

What areas do you serve?

Red Wagon Construction proudly serves Murray, Salt Lake City, West Jordan, West Valley City, Sandy, Draper, Millcreek, Holladay, Cottonwood Heights, and communities throughout Utah's Wasatch Front.

3

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Red Wagon Construction LLC is fully licensed and insured in the State of Utah. We carry general liability insurance and work with licensed trade partners to help protect both our clients and our projects.

4

How does your process work?

Our process starts with an initial consultation to discuss your goals, budget, and timeline. We then move into planning, scope development, and budgeting before construction begins. For larger projects, we provide planning worksheets and scope documents to ensure expectations are clear from day one.

5

Do you pull permits and coordinate inspections?

Yes. When permits are required, Red Wagon Construction handles permit coordination and scheduling of required inspections to help ensure your project complies with local building codes and regulations

6

What types of projects do you specialize in?

We specialize in kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, basement finishing, custom decks, garages, ADUs, home additions, structural modifications, and light commercial renovations throughout the Wasatch Front.

7

How are change orders handled?

Any changes to the agreed scope are documented and approved in writing before additional work proceeds.

8

Do you provide design services?

Yes. We can assist with planning, design coordination, and engineering when necessary.

9

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept checks, ACH transfers, and Venmo. Electronic payment methods may be subject to additional processing fees.

10

Do you offer a warranty?

Yes. We stand behind our workmanship and provide warranty coverage as outlined in our contracts.

11

Can I live in my home during construction?

That depends on the scope of work. Many remodeling projects can be completed while the home remains occupied, while larger renovations may require temporary accommodations.

12

Why do you use planning worksheets?

Planning worksheets improve communication, establish expectations early, and help minimize surprises during construction.
